Academic Advising & GW 101

Colonial Inauguration (CI) kicks off the academic journey at GW and begins your learning experience.  During CI you will have an opportunity to meet with advisors and faculty and learn about the academic experience and expectations here.  In addition, you will have a chance to meet with a number of people who are here to help you make lasting connections with the GW academic community as you begin to chart your course as a Colonial.

These choices begin with GW 101, a comprehensive online pre-orientation program, designed to get you ready to register for classes, provide information on students services and resources, and give you insight on what life will be like at GW and in DC. At CI, you will begin to form the connections with academic administrators you need to start on your path to academic success.
