Office Hours

All professors on campus are required to hold office hours for their students. Office hours are included on the syllabus for a given class. Many professors also offer meetings by appointment if their office hours don’t fit your schedule.

Office hours are designed to allow students to get academic support from professors in an environment that is less intimidating than the classroom. During office hours you can speak with your faculty members about questions you may have about readings, assignments, projects, tests, and exams. Office hours are also an opportunity to find out more about what your professor focuses their own academic or professional work, especially if it is in a field that you have interest in.
